Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VedasLab ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VedasLab provides a unified API gateway for accessing AI language models from various providers. The Service includes API access, usage analytics, rate limiting, and related tooling.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys.
  • You must not share API keys publicly or embed them in client-side code.
  • You are responsible for all usage that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate registration information.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for:

  • Generating content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or discriminatory.
  • Attempting to bypass rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
  • Reselling or sublicensing API access without written permission.
  • Automated scraping, DDoS attacks, or other abusive usage patterns.
  • Any activity that violates the terms of the underlying AI model providers.

5. Rate Limits & Quotas

Each plan has defined rate limits and daily request quotas. Exceeding these limits will result in 429 (Too Many Requests) responses. Repeated abuse may result in account suspension.

6. Payments & Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly via Razorpay.
  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.
  • We offer a 7-day refund policy from the date of first payment.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. VedasLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time through the user dashboard.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
