1. Information We Collect

When you use VedasLab, we may collect the following information:

Account Information: Email address, name, and password hash when you register.
API Usage Data: Request timestamps, models used, token counts, response codes, and IP addresses.
Payment Information: Processed securely via Razorpay. We do not store credit card numbers.
Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and IP address for security purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide and improve the VedasLab API service.
To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse.
To process payments and manage subscriptions.
To send important service notifications (not marketing, unless opted in).
To generate anonymized, aggregated usage analytics.

3. Data Retention

API request logs are retained for up to 30 days (Pro plan) or 7 days (Free plan), after which they are permanently deleted. Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

AI Model Providers: Your API request content is forwarded to providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) for processing. Refer to their respective privacy policies.
Payment Processor: Razorpay processes your payment information under their own privacy policy.
Law Enforcement: Only when required by valid legal process.
